Seven years ago, when my husband and I were visiting in the country, my face and neck became swollen, although I was not conscious of any discomfort. On our way home my husband and I worked metaphysically, knowing that "a spiritual idea has not a single element of error, and this truth removes properly whatever is offensive," as Mrs. Eddy writes on page 463 of Science and Health. By the time I retired that night I was definitely conscious of the swelling, and I felt something sharp under my tongue. Soon after I arose the next morning the truth did remove what was offensive a piece of tooth that had worked out. This was a surgical operation, although only the master Physician, God, was present. In less than an hour the swelling was gone and I was normal.

Words can never express my gratitude for our Father-Mother God, for Christ Jesus, and for our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, who was so spirituallyminded that she was able to reveal this absolute truth which meets our even need. I also wish to express gratitude for membership in the Mother Church and in a branch church and for the privilege of serving in the latter, especially in the Sunday School, and for the beautiful unfoldment received through class instruction. My interest in Christian Science is of forty-eight years' duration. I have been healed of consumption, influenza, and main other ills.
