Space No Obstacle to Healing

John's Gospel recounts that when the Master was once in Cana of Galilee, a nobleman came to him and implored him to come to Capernaum, where his son was very ill. Capernaum was some eighteen miles from Cana, and the Master did not go. But he did heal the son.

The account relates that Jesus said to the anxious father, "Go thy way; thy son liveth." And we are told that "the man believed the word that Jesus had spoken unto him, and he went his way" (John 4:50). Later he learned that his son was healed at the same hour that the Master said, "Thy son liveth."

How could this be done? How is the healing accomplished today by Christian Science of those patients who are absent from their practitioners? The answer can be found only as one recognizes the spiritual nature of God and man as understood by Christ Jesus, and now taught in Christian Science.
