It is a joy to acknowledge the innumerable blessings that have come to me in the many years that I have been a student of Christian Science.
When I turned to this Science in my search for spiritual understanding and physical healing I was suffering from severe attacks of asthma, an ailment that had been my constant and unwelcome companion for over six years. Although I did receive several instantaneous healings after having treatment from a Christian Science practitioner, the warfare with the condition continued. Through this struggle for freedom I gained a clearer and better knowledge of God, and a firmer trust in His omnipotence, omnipresence, and omniscience. I learned to say with Isaiah (2:22). "Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of?" Hymn No. 284 in the Christian Science Hymnal taught me that
