Over a year ago my attention was arrested by a testimony of healing in the Sentinel of a woman who was supporting a small child, finishing a university course, and teaching at the same time. She was healed of nervous exhaustion, and her experience closely paralleled my own. That she was healed and was able to keep on with her work gave me courage, a quality the practitioner had told me I must insist that man includes. I was able to continue the school year, and the condition was overcome.

Of the many other healings and blessings we have experienced through Christian Science, I shall mention a few.

Our son, at the age of six, was healed of deafness. The condition had continued about a week when I decided it was right to have help. I wrote to a practitioner on a Wednesday, and on Friday noon, when we called the child to lunch, he answered, "Coming," and we realized his hearing was normal. The practitioner wrote me, "There is no unhearing ear," and told me to study Mrs. Eddy's definition of "ears'" on page 585 of Science and Health. This condition, which yielded so quickly to Truth, has been permanently healed.
