Truth Uncovers and Destroys Error

"Love fulfils the law of Christian Science, and nothing short of this divine Principle, understood and demonstrated, can ever furnish the vision of the Apocalypse, open the seven seals of error with Truth, or uncover the myriad illusions of sin, sickness, and death." So writes our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 572). And she concludes the paragraph with this positive statement: "Under the supremacy of Spirit, it will be seen and acknowledged that matter must disappear."

Every phase of inharmony, including lack, sorrow, sin, disease, and death, will disappear before the spiritual understanding of the law of divine Principle. Christian Science teaches that the omnipotent, omnipresent law of this Principle nullifies the pretension of mortal mind that it can find a hiding place in God's infinite spiritual creation. To Love, divine Principle, "there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed," as we read in Matthew (10:26), and there is no phase of error that can escape detection and destruction by Truth.

The consistent Christian Scientist tolerates no compromise with error or with material sense. He knows that evil cannot invade the realm of Love, because Love is the divine Principle of all true being.
