"For they know not the voice of strangers"

So accustomed have mortals become to limiting their sense of hearing to human voices and other sounds produced by material forces, sounds which are the effects of the negative material mind, that they are slow to listen for, and to hear, the voice of Spirit, Mind, God, Truth. Yet men must hear and obey Truth's voice if they are to progress out of the bondage of sin, disease, and death, and find the kingdom of God.

The scientific fact is that God, Mind, is always articulate, never inarticulate, is always uttering His Word to His representative, man, who is always listening, hearing, and obeying the Father's voice. How irrational it would be for a supremely intelligent God not to be in constant communication with His representative, man.

The ideas, identities, and witnesses of omnipresent Mind are receptive and responsive only to the voice of God. Christian Science is helping individuals more constantly to discern and benefit by this spiritual fact.
