Love Will Find a Way

[Of Special Interest to Children]

Jan , when he was ten years old, was very fond of all animals, and especially of his pets, which he cared for faithfully. Some gold and silver fish in a pond with stones and water plants were very dear to him. These fish were tame, and would eat from his hands, or brush about his fingers when he had no food in them.

One day in August a playmate came in. "Jan, we are going away for a trip," said Sammy. "May I leave my goldfish in your pond?" In his hand he carried a bowl with a very red fish in it.

"Perhaps I ought to keep him in the bowl for you. The pond would be quite a change for him." Thoughtful Jan was already thinking of the good of the little fish, as well as of helping Sammy.
