Church Dedications

Note: Christian Science churches are dedicated only when free from debt.

Maiden Evening News

Malden, Massachusetts (First Church).

Dedication services were held, morning and evening, on January 21, 1945, in First Church of Christ, Scientist, Maiden, Main and Spring Streets. At both services a brief history of the church was read by the First Reader, and follows in part:

"Christian Science was introduced in Maiden about 1888. Later a society was formed, and services were held in Deliberative Hall, Bailey Building, on Pleasant Street.
