Know That Spirit Is All!

We cannot dwell too constantly on the fact of the allness of Spirit. Such meditation will help to destroy the belief that we live in matter and are subject to its laws. To understand the allness and perfection of God is to bring into our experience whatever good is humanly needed. This must be true, because Mind is substance, omnipotent and complete.

Since there is but one Mind, man, the reflection of this Mind, expresses the divine consciousness. Erring mortal mind has never been any part of the real man. The writer proved this to be true many years ago when a discordant physical condition of long standing was eradicated. One day the thought came clearly that if the Christ-consciousness, the consciousness of the truth—could be maintained throughout every hour of that day, healing would result. She took this radical stand in the face of physical suffering. Evening brought victory. The error disappeared, never to return.

God is All. Every individual can understand this truth, apply it to any need he may have, and begin to attain that full and complete freedom from all evil that it implies. Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, makes this clear in the following words (Pulpit and Press, p. 3): "Know, then, that you possess sovereign power to think and act rightly, and that nothing can dispossess you of this heritage and trespass on Love."
