It is a beautiful experience to have a Christian Science healing, for such healing is felt both mentally and physically. Recently I have been lifted out of unhappiness—restlessness, weariness, weakness, self-condemnation, and self-pity—which had brought on a physical breakdown. I tried to work for myself, but I see now that to seek the help of a practitioner before error seemingly becomes powerful is much wiser. There was so much to be overcome in my thought that the healing took several months. I felt unable to do my housework without lying down every little while. Now, although the amount of work to be done is the same, I can do it joyously and feel as the child of God should feel.

My youngest daughter, aged two, developed a severe case of eczema on the legs and arms. I wish to express deep gratitude to the practitioner for the patient work that was done. After treatment had been going on for about a month and I had done much studying of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, as well as reading the Christian Science periodicals, I felt that my thought about the child had been freed. Still the skin condition was alarming, and neighbors, friends, and relatives seemed to attach the thought of the disease to the child. When this thought was dealt with specifically in the treatment, the healing came within several days.

I do not know how anyone without Christian Science could possibly meet all the problems that arise in rearing a family. Through it we receive a satisfactory explanation of the Bible. It is a joy to know that this Science is universal, and no matter where we are we feel at home upon entering a Christian Science church or Reading Room.
