I wish to express my gratitude...

I wish to express my gratitude for the sustaining power of divine Love, which was taught and practiced by Christ Jesus, and is today available to all through the understanding of Christian Science. This understanding has been a great help during the present times, when our loved ones have been called away from their homes. The most comforting thought to me is that God is everywhere; therefore, since He is as near to the ones for whom we are praying as He is to us, all are under His protection. It is reassuring to know that no matter where they are, they are still reflecting Life, Truth, and Love.

There is no place outside of God's universe, and He is the only power, as the Psalmist knew when he declared (139:9), "If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me." And Mary Baker Eddy writes in the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 571), "Clad in the panoply of Love, human hatred cannot reach you."

During the fourteen years that I have been studying Christian Science, I have had many physical healings. They have been small blessings, however, compared to the peace and joy derived from living in the heavenly atmosphere of divine consciousness, which becomes our abode as we daily demonstrate Christian Science.
