Our dear Master, Christ Jesus, repeatedly admonished us to rejoice. I have been reading testimonies in our periodicals for many years, and have garnered many helpful, healing thoughts; therefore I should like to testify to the numerous healings which have come to me through the study of Christian Science.

My parents took up the study of Science when I was about four years old. Shortly afterward I had typhoid pneumonia in a severe form. The practitioner who was called immediately began working for me in Science. There seemed to be no improvement, and I lapsed into a coma. Mother knew that Christian Science healed and she refused to accept the material evidences. She kept repeating, "I have no fear, since Life is here," knowing as she did that God, Life, is ever present, and that God's child forever manifests that Life. I came out of the coma, and that night I fell asleep, awaking the next morning completely healed.

Through the years since that healing divine Mind has protected me, and guided me along the way. I have been healed of many diseases, of bad traits of character and disposition, and other difficulties. But the greatest healings are the freedom from fear and the overcoming of an inferiority complex. "The peace of God, which passeth all understanding" has been demonstrated in my experience. The struggle for that peace and the demonstration of it have been, and still are, an inspiration to me. I should like to relate my experience in the hope that it will help someone who is going through a similar situation.
