Fulfillment
In
time long past, the chosen prophet told
Of time to come, when Hebrew prayer would mold
The Messianic hope into sweet reality.
This holy vision, nurtured through the years
Of earthly joys and triumphs, doubts and fears,
Brought embodied Truth: Exemplar to humanity.
This God-crowned man, this holy Son of God,
Came as the anointed, yet humbly trod
The human path which mortal bondage claims for each and all.
Not in servitude walked he, nor yet with fear
Because in him, the Christly Truth held dear
The things of God. Sin could not engulf, nor death enthrall.
Today, the Science of the Christ is here,
Revealed to her whose inspired thought made clear
The spiritual sense of God as ever-present Mind.
No later revelation now may come;
Truth stands unveiled; God's work is wholly done.
It now is ours with which ever to bless and heal mankind.
