Freedom

Ezra P. Gibonoy
 The Religious Digest
Grand Rapids, Michigan

In the last analysis liberty does not come from mechanized armament, mastery in the air, and possession of the greatest navy on the seven seas. Freedom cannot be found in the external things of life. It can only be found in the realm of the spirit.

Freedom from ignorance, superstition, sin, and the tyranny of the spiritual hosts of wickedness in high places cannot be given by a conquering army, however benevolent the peace they may have to offer. It can come alone through the power of the Spirit, and must be heralded by ambassadors whose feet are "shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace." . . . The way to freedom was first proclaimed among the hills of Galilee and Judea.
