Christian Science is indeed the Comforter promised by Christ Jesus. It has taught me that God is wholly good, and because He is infinite and supreme, good is the whole of my life, not just part of it.

I am very grateful for the way Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, has differentiated in the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," between the two records of creation. In the first chapter and the first two verses of the second chapter of Genesis is found the true record of creation, man made in the image and likeness of God. Then follows the false record, depicting life originating in matter, with its so-called laws of limitation. This is the Adam-dream, from which each one of us must awaken to receive the goodly heritage which God has given impartially to all.

I am always glad I had the opportunity of attending the Christian Science Sunday School, for there I gained an understanding of God as divine Principle, Love, and learned that obedience to Principle always brings blessing. I never had the desire to smoke or drink intoxicants because I saw that these two habits claimed to take away man's dominion.
