I want to express my gratitude...

I want to express my gratitude for all the good that has come to me through Christian Science. It is my blessed privilege to have had this Science as my only physician all my life.

I have had many proofs of God's love, including the complete removal of warts which covered both my hands; the healing within three weeks of a broken ankle without any medical assistance; an instantaneous healing of what a school nurse diagnosed as scarlet fever; and the quick and permanent healing of severe nosebleed through absent treatment given by a Christian Science practitioner who had never seen me. I have been able, through reliance on divine Mind, to pass the difficult examinations required by the state in order to practice my profession. I have been very busy and have enjoyed abundant supply since opening my own office, despite the opinion expressed by many persons, including friends, that it would be impossible for a man to open an office and make a living in view of the business conditions existing at that time and that a woman should never attempt it.

Many beautiful healings have come to my family through the study and application of the truths taught in Christian Science. My mother was healed within two weeks of a badly bent spinal column, which was the result of an automobile accident. This healing came about after the physician, who had been called by witnesses to the scene of the accident, had said that she could not live more than twenty-four hours. Some years ago my father was healed almost instantaneously of what appeared to be nearly fatal asphyxiation, caused by fumes from a defective gas stove. The practitioner was thorough and faithful in his realization of the ever-presence of Life, God, and my father regained consciousness. The healing was complete and permanent, for my father returned to work the next morning and has never suffered any aftereffects from that experience. My brother was instantaneously healed of severe bleeding from a deep cut just under his eye. He was also healed of blood poisoning. For the protection and the beautiful experiences my brother has had during his service in the armed forces, we are indeed very grateful.
