Christian Science Committee on Publication for Missouri Reports

Another year of joyous, fruitful activity in behalf of the Cause of Christian Science in Missouri has been completed.

Although newspapers have been reduced in size as well as in the number of daily editions, and there is an increase in the cost of labor and materials, there are gratifying evidences of the desire of editors to use our material as often as possible.

Forty-three newspapers carried the excerpt of the Thanksgiving Day Lesson-Sermon, and eighty-nine are regularly printing the weekly Lesson-Sermon excerpt. Seventy-two editors continue to reprint monthly the religious article from the Home Forum page of The Christian Science Monitor, which is furnished to them in either plate, mat, or copy form. Some editors have used the same article several times, while others publish two, three, or more of these monthly articles in one edition. One editor who publishes our monthly religious article requested a copy of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, stating that he had enjoyed the articles and desired to have the textbook in his office library. The book was furnished with the compliments of this office.
