The Easter of a New Outlook
Humanity today is confronted with one of the greatest problems it has ever had to solve, that of world reconstruction, adjustment, and government. How best to set about the solving of this problem, wisely to provide for the welfare of all, for small as well as for big nations, in fairness and consideration to classify and unify—this is the task which confronts us.
Experts on the subject will require all the help which right thinkers are able to give them. Christian Scientists can contribute to the solution of these problems by their devoted scientific reasoning and intelligent declarations of the presence and power of God and of the present availability of His ideas.
What must Christian Scientists do to help in this hour? How may they best invoke the power of Truth to succor individuals and nations, supply their needs, establish right conditions and governments which will comprehensively adjust and maintain order and harmony? Out of this world conflagration, may we not expect that there will emerge a higher humanity? May we not hope that there will be born a purer society, a people wholly reliant on God?
