It is written in the Psalms, "Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy."

With great rejoicing and gratitude I give this testimony of what Christian Science has done for me. Five years ago, after I had spent two weeks in a hospital for a nervous disorder, the doctors told me there was nothing more they could do for me, for they could not diagnose my distressed mental condition and its attendant suffering. One night I collapsed, and my husband said, "Why don't you try Christian Science?" I went to a Wednesday evening testimony meeting, and through the loving efforts of the members was led to a practitioner. I wish here to express gratitude for the patience and encouragement I was given, which helped me to take the first steps. I read the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, day and night, and health and strength increased as God's loving law was understood and applied. I have been healed of sleeplessness, pain, and effects of accidents, and have not spent one day in bed during these past five years because of sickness.

Christian Science has brought me poise, fearlessness, courage, and dominion, and also the tranquillity which comes from the understanding that God gives man the ability to think rightly at all times and under all circumstances.

I am deeply grateful for a short visit to the Christian Science Benevolent Association Sanatorium at Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. While I was in that loving atmosphere, a healing of pain and obstruction took place overnight without any specific work being done. My first visit to The Mother Church enlarged my vision of the magnitude and scope of Christian Science and gave me a deeper reverence for our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy.
