Forgiveness

ROBERT HOWATSON

WITH patience and compassion rate,
Out of the treasure of his heart,
The Master showed the Father's care
Cannot be from His works apart.
In unity with Him I dwell
And His perfection I express.
I do the things that please Him well,
And find His hand is swift to bless.

As He is All-in-all and good,
No evil is there to behold.
In Him there is one brotherhood,
As wisdom, Love, and Truth unfold.
As I His loving-kindness know,
I gladly haste His will to do.
My grateful heart does overflow
With meekness and obedience true.

And as I find I dwell with Him,
With Him and His I wish to be;
For He has filled beyond the brim
My cup with blessings full and free.
The path of life He shows me clear
With Truth's eternal, guiding light,
And satisfied I safely steer
Along the buoyant course of right.
