It is with deep gratitude that I verify the foregoing testimony of my daughter. When Christian Science was mentioned to me as a healing power for her I was entirely ignorant as to what it was or what it could do, but all material methods having failed I was willing to turn to anything. In my own way I had turned to God, but still thought that materia medica was also necessary.

When the practitioner called and explained to us the real meaning of God, I was so interested that I forgot why she had called and just went on questioning, eager to know more.

From the time of my daughter's healing we have earnestly studied Christian Science and applied it to all the problems with which we have been confronted. We have had many beautiful healings in the home. Great comfort has been experienced during a trial of seeming separation. We are proving day by day that God supplies abundantly all we need.

Through the understanding of man's relationship to God my younger daughter was released from the bondage of a law of heredity.

I am deeply grateful for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church, for Sunday school instruction for my younger daughter, for all the periodicals, for the love and kindness that have been and are being bestowed on us and all mankind. I am grateful to God, to Christ Jesus, and to Mary Baker Eddy, our beloved Leader, and for every experience which is leading me from sense to Soul.—(Mrs.) Nellie Bottomley.
