It is a joy to testify to the healing efficacy of Christian Science. Offering written testimony is true fruition, a privilege cheerfully exercised when one's cup of gratitude "runneth over."

Christian Science found me in "the valley of the shadow" of misery and despair. Having suffered a severe nervous breakdown, I was in a psychopathic hospital with a condition pronounced hopeless by the doctors. My wife asked for help in Christian Science. The healing took place following a few days' treatment, and I returned to my work.

As I studied and applied the teachings of Mrs. Eddy with humble gratitude, all craving for tobacco and intoxicating beverages left me. I was also healed of constipation attended by violent headaches. The harmful effects of asphyxiation by a poisonous gas were overcome by silent repetition of "the scientific statement of being," to be found on page 468 of Science and Health.
