Introductions to Lectures

Salisbury, North Carolina (First Church).

Lecturer: Peter B. Biggins; introduced by Mrs. Flora B. Ramsaur, who said:—

The first sentence of the Preface to the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, reads (p. vii), "To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big with blessings." Christian Scientists are learning to rely "on the sustaining infinite," and as a consequence they are finding that their days are "big with blessings."

Before I had finished reading the textbook for the first time, I was healed of stomach trouble of many years' standing. In my home I have seen so-called children's diseases, colds, headaches, and many other unhappy conditions healed through the application of Christian Science.
