It is my privilege to add this testimony to the many that have been given to the glory of God and His revelation in Christian Science.

The Master's promise, "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly," has been fulfilled in my life since I took up the study of Christian Science, almost ten years ago. This Science found me at a low level of human existence, sick in mind and body, and with no hope of ever becoming a useful member of society. Even at that time I realized that no change of circumstances, locality, or environment could help me; that I had to look for a remedy within my own thinking.

My affliction was a false appetite, believed to be inherited, in which I took refuge whenever things failed to run as smoothly as I desired them to do. Although I blamed myself for this bondage, fought it, and tried to trick myself out of it, I could not free myself. When at last Christian Science found me, I learned to know the nothingness of aught unlike God, good, and man to be the creation, manifestation, and likeness of God, free from all condemnation.
