Finding Our True Environment
Every individual's true qualities are derived from God. Mortal mind seems to dispute this truth by the teaching of biology, psychology, and related theories. Popular science claims there are constitutional factors which determine everyone's individuality and selfhood. These should be examined and tested in the light of Christian Science.
For instance, mortal mind advances the theory that man is largely affected by his environment. Here are definitions of "environment" taken from two of the leading dictionaries:
"Environment. The factors surrounding or affecting human beings" (Webster's New International Dictionary, Second Edition).
