Note: Christian Science churches are dedicated only when free from debt.

Williston, North Dakota (First Church).—On Sunday, June 13, 1943, the members of First Church of Christ, Scientist, dedicated their church edifice with services held in the forenoon and afternoon. The following historical sketch was read:

"In the fall of 1909, a few students of Christian Science met in one another's homes to read the Bible and 'Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures' by Mary Baker Eddy, and other authorized Christian Science literature. On June 16, 1910, it was decided to organize a Christian Science Society in accordance with the By-Laws of the Manual of The Mother Church.

"A building fund was started, and the sum of one thousand dollars was raised. In 1916 the lot at the corner of Main and Seventh Streets, the present site of the church, was purchased.
