"Tenderness accompanies all the might imparted by Spirit." This statement from "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy (p. 514) is only one of the gems of truth which the study of Christian Science has helpfully unfolded to me. My heart is filled with sincere gratitude toward our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for the innumerable spiritual truths to be found in our textbook, truths which will help any sincere seeker, as they have helped me in many ways.

Tenderness denotes gentleness, compassion, kindness, love. These attributes are greatly needed to-day, and earnest students of Christian Science are learning how to express them.

A few years ago I turned to Christian Science for the healing of a very discordant and painful physical condition, and the help came quickly and completely. For some time I had been suffering from extreme pain and discomfort to the degree that I had become fearful of eating. The condition grew progressively severe, and manifested itself outwardly so that friends expressed solicitude over my apparent loss of weight. Though I had been trying to help myself through the study of the Bible and Science and Health, no relief seemed forthcoming.
