We Know

We know the mountain stands unmoved, serene,
Though mist would hide its beauty from our sight.
The sun shines on, not mindful of the clouds
Which seem to dim its wonderous, radiant light.
'Tis thus with God and His reflection, man:
This mortal dream cannot disturb or change
His perfect plan.
