Enlistment to Lessen Evil

Mary Baker Eddy says in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 450), "The Christian Scientist has enlisted to lessen evil, disease, and death; and he will overcome them by understanding their nothingness and the allness of God, or good."

Christian Science has given to the age-old warfare against evil a new scope and impetus, for it has revealed the mental nature of the conflict and the present demonstrable facts about the spiritual universe and man. Christian Science reveals man as the perfect idea of divine Mind, possessing by reflection the loving, intelligent, and pure qualities of Mind. He lives in a spiritual universe, where supply is unlimited and opportunity unrestricted, a universe in which sin, suffering, sorrow, and destruction are unknown. All evil is ignorance of the truth about the real man, and the spiritual facts, brought to bear upon specific claims of evil, destroy them, establishing a higher sense of health, supply, or whatever is needed, in human experience.

How can one who has enlisted "to lessen evil, disease, and death" best succeed? What are the qualifications most required in this Christianly scientific warfare?
