I became interested in Christian Science a number of years ago, after my sister was healed of an abscess of the jawbone. Later she experienced an instantaneous healing when she was in great pain. We did not understand Science, but we knew the work was lovingly done by a Christian Science practitioner. We began to attend a Christian Science church and to read the literature.

Then came an opportunity for me to demonstrate Christian Science. I had a nervous breakdown, which terminated in paralysis. I asked for help from a practitioner, and began studying Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. My suffering was intense for some time. One morning, however, I fell asleep, and on awakening I felt well and free from pain. In a short time my complete healing was manifested and I was able to do my housework and walk for a long distance without fatigue.

I used to read testimonies of healing in Christian Science with tears of joy flowing down my cheeks, for I knew God was with His children, blessing them and healing them.
