On first hearing of Christian Science over thirty years ago, I desired to be healed of hatred, envy, and jealousy. I resolved to apply Science to a physical condition, and, if it "worked," to take up the study in earnest, for hate was causing much unhappiness. I had worn a support for about twelve years because of a misplaced internal organ, and the physician said that an operation would be necessary, but I was healed in one week's absent treatment by a practitioner, and was able to discard the support.

Through my constant reading of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy during three years, hatred was overcome, love taking its place.

A healing that stands out clearly was one of cancer. The practitioner and I worked faithfully for three and a half years. Sometimes we have to be patient with ourselves to realize our release. One daughter was healed of constipation, catarrh, and typhoid fever. Another daughter was healed of diphtheria, which disappeared in a few hours. I was employed at the time of passing through an experience of nervous breakdown, but I continued working every day and was healed. Acute indigestion, heart, stomach, and bowel trouble, influenza, and sprained ankles were healed; positions have been obtained; and property disposed of—all through Christian Science.
