On first hearing of Christian Science over thirty years ago, I desired to be healed of hatred, envy, and jealousy. I resolved to apply Science to a physical condition, and, if it "worked," to take up the study in earnest, for hate was causing much unhappiness. I had worn a support for about twelve years because of a misplaced internal organ, and the physician said that an operation would be necessary, but I was healed in one week's absent treatment by a practitioner, and was able to discard the support.

Through my constant reading of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy during three years, hatred was overcome, love taking its place.
