If you are right, then rest serene,Nor fretted be because of scorn,Or lies, or hate, or anythingThat does the truth assail;The time will come when you shall seeThe wrong disperse, the wicked flee,And ever Truth prevail.

The sun shines on, nor dims its lightBecause some pigmy cloud of earthDenies its presence, warmth, and might;It still illumines day,Serene and bright, content to show,Despite the cloud, its warmth and glowAre here to bless alway.
