Fourteen years ago Christian Science...

Fourteen years ago Christian Science was presented to me by a friend, and although I was not interested enough at first to read the literature she left with me, I was impressed by the things she had said. One day I idly picked up a copy of the Sentinel, and began to read the first article. That experience will always remain fresh in my mind, for the article brought comfort and hope to me, and I knew that each statement was true. I began to attend a Christian Science church, and have since learned to rely entirely on spiritual healing, as taught by Christ Jesus, and later by Mary Baker Eddy in the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures."

Though the way has often been difficult and there have been many problems to meet, my daughter, my son, and I have found through Christian Science that "all things work together for good to them that love God." I could never adequately express my gratitude to practitioners for their patient, unselfish, loving, and wonderful help in the problems that have arisen.

I am grateful for the Sunday school and for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church. Through the daily study of the Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly, "A Rule for Motives and Acts" and the "Daily Prayer" (Manual of The Mother Church by Mrs. Eddy, Art. VIII, Sects. 1 and 4), I have experienced good health over a long period of years.
