This testimony is prompted by gratitude for the many times I have found in the pages of the periodicals the exact testimony to suit my need.

Some fifteen years ago I first became acquainted with Christian Science, learning of it from the friend who afterwards became my husband. At first the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, seemed to rouse opposition, but after a period of chemicalization of thought, some realization of the truth began to dawn. Recognition of the love reflected by all of God's children yielded instant fruit in the overcoming of self-consciousness. At this early stage an obstinate ear trouble vanished without my being aware of the fact for some time. Frequent loss of voice, a big handicap in my teaching work, was overcome, and these troubles have never reappeared.
