There perhaps is not another book in the world which is so distinguished by many beautiful qualities as the Bible. Those who love music are enchanted by the cadence, the rhythm of the verses of the Psalms, Proverbs, and the Song of Solomon. The one who loves poetry will find a wealth of poems throughout the Scriptures. The nature lover finds word pictures of the beauty of the earth.

The people of those long ago days must have lived very close to the earth and loved it; they were so conscious of its glory and fruitfulness. Their joy seemed to spring from simple, natural things.
