Prophecy

The highest mountain peak has caught the radiance
Which heralds yet another dawning day,
Although the lower slopes are still in twilight,
And somber shadows hide the valley way.
It may take time before the growing splendor
Can reach the dwellers on the plains below,
But those who lift their gaze unto the mountains
Will know the sun through its reflected glow.

So one upon the mount of revelation
Speaks of the glory present to his sight,
Though worldly mortals could not guess the vision,
Had not one risen where he caught its light.
Though time may pass before the wondrous message
Reaches and heals the lives of all mankind,
Yet all who will can now, through Truth's reflection,
Behold the purpose of unchanging Mind.
