Unselfed Love

MARY STONE WALLACE

When thoughts of self are laid aside,
We part with envy, fear, and pride,
We welcome joy; and then
Comes Love, to bless all men.

For when this self no more holds sway,
Good cheer draws near, with us to stay,
And sweet content; and then
Comes Love, to bless all men.

To count no righteousness our own,
To claim the Mind of Christ alone,
Is health and peace; and then
Comes Love, to bless all men.
