Permanency of Supply

Christ Jesus demonstrated in his own experience not only the permanency of supply, but also its immediate availability. His clear spiritual understanding discerned the presence of the inexhaustible resources of spiritual substance. This enabled him to prove that there is unceasing spiritual sufficiency, overruling the mortal belief of lack. Understanding his at-one-ment with God, Jesus knew that his real being was inseparable from the divine Mind, which meets every human need through spiritual law.

God does not leave His offspring to shift for itself, to succeed or fail according to the false concepts prevailing in the unreal material sense of existence. Christian Science shows that God, the loving creator, is ever maintaining His spiritual creation; ever sustaining His beloved idea, man; continually unfolding the unending glories of Life. The infinite self-sufficiency of divine Life is reflected by spiritual man, who is conscious of his unlimited resources in Mind.

Divine Mind is never depleted in the perpetual unfoldment of its ideas. Spiritual substance is never exhausted in Spirit's universe. Divine good is continuously flowing from its eternal source, God. These spiritual realities are unchangeable, and therefore permanent in the kingdom of heaven.
