Sunday School Notes and Comments
The purpose of the Christian Science Sunday School is to help the children gain an understanding of God's infinite goodness. One teacher approaches her class with the realization that God is the only Mind; and to the extent that the teaching is kept clear and strictly in accord with Truth as revealed by Mary Baker Eddy, the understanding of the pupils grows steadily.
The words, "And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness," are practically explained each Sunday as the allness of God, good, and the nothingness of the false beliefs of the so-called mortal mind are pointed out.
From the very earliest lessons in Sunday school the teacher strives to give to the pupils a clear understanding of Truth, which enables them to grow in realization of God's allness, and to prove in a greater degree from day to day what they know as students of Christian Science.
