Prayer

Prayer is to see God's presence everywhere.
Prayer is to hear
The "still small voice" that casts out fear.
Prayer is to breathe the incense of
Divine, eternal Love.
Prayer is to hunger after and be fed
The living bread.
Prayer is to heal; it is the touch of peace upon
All pain, all grief, all care;
It is to be aware
That God and man are one—
Father and son.
Prayer is to realize
New birth;
It is to rise
Out of the fleeing
Shadows of earth
Into the radiance of true being.
