Thou Strong Deliverer

WILMA FUCHS

O God, Thou strong deliverer,
Endue us with Thy light.
Instill in us a higher sense
Of Thy great love and might.

Enrich our lives with faith supreme,
Which ne'er can faint or fall.
Undaunted let us stand alway
And hear Thy clarion call.

When we depend on Thee alone,
Triumphant then are we,
In all our ways, in all our tasks,
Whatever they may be.

Go forth, ye children, spread the news
That God is here today.
His angels are encircling us;
They guard and light the way.
