I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science and for a healing that I received some time ago.

I was playing baseball, and in running to catch the ball, I tripped and fell, dislocating my right ankle. The pain was intense, and I had to be helped to my room.

My family was alarmed about my condition, and insisted on calling a physician; but I assured them that all was well right there and then, and asked to be left alone. Upon being left alone, I repeated "the scientific statement of being" from page 468 of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. I then sang a hymn from the Christian Science Hymnal. With the words of this hymn in thought, I fell asleep, and the next morning I was free from the erroneous condition.
