Divine Leading

In her poem "Feed My Sheep," Mary Baker Eddy writes (Poems, p. 14), "I will listen for Thy voice." Her whole life gave evidence of consecrated listening and loving obedience to the voice of God.

Listening to the voice of God, as our Leader did, we shall think and speak and act rightly, and not according to the "mist from the earth," the darkened mortal sense of things. We shall be able to comprehend the untold blessing of her discovery that the allness of God, good, means the consequent nothingness of evil.

Today, we have the benefit of the Christian Science organization, established by our Leader, with all its inspiring and enlightening activities. But consider what it meant to Mrs. Eddy to resist the material sense, the "mist from the earth," arguing that evil is real and powerful!
