With my heart overflowing with gratitude for the many blessings that have come to me from the study of Christian Science I write this testimony.

Soon after I became interested in Christian Science I experienced an unpleasant throat condition, which was beautifully overcome through the application of this Science. This was an encouragement and joy to me, because during this healing I relinquished all previously used material remedies.

Several years later I became ill with a very severe lung and throat condition, which was very alarming to my family, since tuberculosis had been prevalent in my father's family. For the healing of this condition I am very grateful, because it rooted out many unpleasant traits in my character. I began to realize that I must see all of God's ideas as the reflection of Truth and Love. This was quite an effort for me, since I had felt entirely justified in sulking and in shutting myself off completely from certain people. But after reading the weekly Lesson-Sermon as given in the Christian Science Quarterly, through the lens of a more enlightened understanding, I very soon won my own consent to reflect Love to all. The response was gratifying. When I obliterated old resentments I was completely healed.
