Accept Your Freedom

Lift up your head and see the light of day,
God's day, whose radiance overcomes the night.
Accept your freedom, child of God. The way
Is clear, and leads you upward to the light.

You are not bound by error's chains, but free,
Upright and perfect, governed by one law—
The law of Love that rules eternally;
Only the arms of Love about you draw
You on the road from sense to Soul. Your eyes,
Open at last, behold the joy that waits
The seeker after Truth; you realize
That holy harmony which Love creates.

The dream of sense was never real. Awake
At last, you watch the shadows disappear,
And gladly see the glorious morning break,
Revealing Spirit's heavenly atmosphere.
