Christian Science is found to be in accord with the Holy Bible...

Christian Science is found to be in accord with the Holy Bible when the spiritual meaning of the Bible is understood. Christ Jesus did not teach that man is subject to sickness, sin, disease, or death; but he said, "The kingdom of God is within you." He proved his words by his works, healing all manner of sickness and sin, and raising the dead to perfect health in opposition to material laws and doctrinal theories. "Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures," he once said; also, "If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death."

Christian Science is Christian and scientific, because it is carrying out the commands of the Master. It is healing the sick and revealing to human understanding the truth about God's creation—thus preaching the gospel of Christ. Thousands are testifying all over the globe to the divine healing and regenerating power of Christian Science; and this Science is demonstrable Truth.

While Job truly said of a mortal, "Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble," Christian Science does not say that this mortal is immortal man. The distinction between the real and the unreal, so easily seen by Christ Jesus, is again made plain through Christian Science, which brings to light the eternal facts of existence. In the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," Mary Baker Eddy has written (p. 295): "Mortals are not like immortals, created in God's own image; but infinite Spirit being all, mortal consciousness will at last yield to the scientific fact and disappear, and the real sense of being, perfect and forever intact, will appear."
