Our family first became interested in Christian Science in 1888, but I did not take up the study of it until 1914. At that time, I was instantaneously healed of lumbago and the whisky habit. Since then, Christian Science has been my only physician, and many healings have resulted from the operation of divine Principle. I was freed from gout, and injuries to my hands and feet, including a very bad cut which went through the first joint of the thumb, were healed. In ten days I was doing heavy work again.

While I am deeply grateful for these physical healings, I am especially grateful for the fact that we have a divine Principle which can be applied to business. In the last ten years, by constantly holding to the great fact of divine intelligence, we have developed a business from the ground up. The small beginnings have grown into a business that has a national field. We have not suffered at all from the depression, and have proved that divine activity operates unhampered and unhindered by the fears and doubts of mortal man.

We never cease to be thankful for Christian Science, which Mrs. Eddy gave to the world in such a form that everybody can understand and use it. It is applicable to all human needs.—Lester B. Haley, Hillsboro, Oregon.
