Arise and Walk

Mind is divine.
"Its symbol is the sphere."Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, page 240.
Mind throws no brazen gates
Nor walls of fear
Across your pathway
To the lovely hills.

Mind is divine.
All space it fills,
All trepidation heals,
All tumult stills,
All good retains.

Mind is divine;
And yours it is to be
Unlabored in your
Motion, lucid, free:
Unfettered here to roam
The realms of Mind;
New usefulness to know,
New heights to climb
Where none can shade
Your clear, unclouded eyes,
Or dim the vision
Of God's paradise.

You long had quested
For the first bright blade
Of Spirit's light,
And sought it sorrowing
Through the long, dark night
When Satan bound you
In the chains of sense.

Those chains are fallen now,
The dream so dense
Has all dissolved,
And left you unafraid.

Arise and walk,
A child of God—new-made,
Newborn of Him
Whose symbol is the sphere.
