For more than thirty years Christian Science has been my only physician, and during that period I have experienced many healings, physically, financially, mentally, and morally; but at this time I should like to testify to two healings which further emphasized the truth of a statement given to us by our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, in her textbook, Science and Health (p. 167), "Only through radical reliance on Truth can scientific healing power be realized."

Late one afternoon, over four years ago, I slipped on a highly polished floor in a store. My ankle turned, and I fell, my entire weight resting on my wrists, because I had put out my hands to break the fall. My husband, sitting in our car in front of the store, saw me slip and rushed to my assistance, as did several in the store, but I declared, "I am not hurt." After transacting the business which had necessitated the call, I walked without assistance to our car.

As we drove home, my husband and I worked both silently and audibly, for the pain seemed severe. It was imperative that an air mail letter be sent that evening containing some business information, so immediately on reaching home I typed the communication, and this was done in spite of the arguments of mortal mind. The pain increased to such an extent that, later in the evening, I asked a practitioner for help, and work was taken up immediately. There was no breakage, but both wrists seemed badly sprained.
