Item of Interest

The branches of The Mother Church will be interested to learn that Mrs. Selina C. Cornish, late of Cold Spring, New York, in her desire to benefit humanity, has left a substantial amount in trust to aid in building Christian Science church edifices in cities and towns of twenty thousand inhabitants or less.

An excerpt from the will reads as follows:

"I direct that my said trustee shall from time to time, as opportunity occurs, contribute to the building of Christian Science churches in towns having a population not to exceed twenty thousand (20,000) inhabitants, sums not exceeding ten thousand dollars ($10,000) to any one of the churches so assisted, and not to exceed one-third (1/3) the total amount contributed from all sources for the purpose of building any one of said churches so assisted.
